I think the gap filled with the same copper and mesh would look rather nice. Maybe leave space for a loud zoomie exhaust to poke thru there so you can make yourself more deaf and suffocate yourself with toxic exhaust fumes. Yeah, good place for exhaust pipes to go.

I like seeing how much pleasure these ratrods bring you. Love the one that is already on the road.
I do have to wait and see how the fenders will integrate in the truck, especially in the back i think they are to large.
Why did you choose this? Anyway, it is my problem, you will bring it together.
Thanks for the video's

what i have learnt from watching alot of you tube videos is there is more than one way to do something and theres not a right or wrong way just different people approach thing differently.

perfect song at the end. seems like you can't get no satisfaction when building things the first time and then you end up re doing it 5 times or at least that's how it works for me lol

The only thing I would do different than you is where you keep it parked. I'd park it at my house.

It's all in your think no one else's, it's coming out great.

Ken you will get electrolytic corrosion between the copper and steel on your fender spacers because they are dissimilar metals so it would be a good idea to put insulating gaskets between them.

Copper looks great it's getting closer each day can't wait to see it under its own power .

With all your little "touches", you are creating a new "vane/vein" (????) in the /Rat Rod element. A "Custom" Rat Rod. ;o) That frabricatin work looks really good. Never mind anything being "wrong" with it.

Need to build the fender supports from some old piston connecting rods.

Don't build too beautiful... you might end up wanting to paint the beauty!

Great video Ken. What sort of fender supports were used on the original truck ?

You've probably already mentioned this, but are you going to clear the copper to keep it shiny or let it turn green to contrast the rusty iron? Either way, thanks for the update!

I like it..needless to say, I'd not flambase it cause it ain't me-ins, if it were I'd more than likely ask Ken his advice and input. I'm gonna echo Myhevyshevy Ken, cept instead of parking it at HIS house, park it at MINE, I mean I am alot closer and wouldn't take as long to get here and ya could spend a day frolicking around SLC...lol...rukkin good !!
