In the original Snow White I was horrified that the Queen was trying to kill Snow White. In this one I was disappointed she failed.

Imagine coming home from working in the mine all day. You're exhausted and dirty, all you want to do is wash up, get some food and sleep so you have enough energy for the next work day. Instead you find a stranger in your home that pushes a broom in your hands because she finds it too dirty, and she wants to eat your food and sleep in your bed. While you slave away for her, she bounces around singing without helping.

Another thing to add about Snow White cleaning the house, she originally thinks it's owned by orphaned children. So she wants to help clean up for the That's even sweeter.

The fact Snow White cleaned the cottage was a great display of her inner beauty. She is a princess after all, so she obviously had others do that for her, most of her life. So when she cleans the cottage it shows that despite her royal upbringing she does not believe such things are beneath her.

Personally I am left-wing, and really enjoyed watching the classic Disney movies as a kid, when good storytelling was centre, and they were not made according to political checklists. However once Disney started making its movies to political checklists, the storytelling really slid downhill, I and my family stopped watching.

Whatever background people are from, people go to watch a movie with a good storyline, not be given a political lecture…😢

The original Snow White isn’t my favorite but I love Snow White’s character. She’s sweet, naive as she’s young, wants love, (she likes the prince who she wished for) and is SURPRISED her step-mom tried to kill her. That’s how kind she is! Wtf are they doing to her! They couldn’t even cast a person who’s actually like Snow White personality wise or can act the part convincingly 😭
