Rykard wasn't a particularly hard boss to beat, but lore-wise and aesthetically, he is DEFINITELY one of top 5 coolest bosses in the game. Anyone else noticed that he has 7 fingers on each hand, all adorned with gold rings even. Truly, a power-hungry, blasphemous abomination.

I always liked the way Rykard says “family”. Like he’s struggling to speak in his normal voice over the snake that ate him. God this character is so good.

I love how his reaction to the tarnished killing a literal god is "Oh well I here I go again I guess". Even after death he's so casual about it.

He's like a reverse oceiros and Ludwig. Instead of going completely into a beast or regaining his humanity at the last moment, he still hungers for power. Gotta respect the sigma grind there.
