This video will demonstrate how to perform Adult CPR (over 8 years old).

In the demonstration of adult CPR, the initial step is to assess the surroundings for any potential dangers. Following this, attempt to awaken the person by calling out their name and gently shaking them. If there's no response, proceed by opening the person's airway; tilt their head slightly back and lift the chin. Check for breathing within a span of no more than 10 seconds, observing for any signs of breathing such as chest movement, sounds, or airflow.

In the event that the person is not breathing, immediately call 911 for emergency assistance. Request a bystander to make the call if possible. If an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is accessible, bring it to the scene. Placing one hand at the center of the person's chest as a landmark, administer 30 compressions, ensuring to push down firmly and rapidly, maintaining a compression rate of at least 100 compressions per minute.

When an AED is available, follow the provided instructions to attach it to the person's chest. Afterward, position a mask over their face, re-open the airway, and proceed to give two breaths – one full breath followed by another – ensuring effective ventilation. Continue this pattern, executing cycles of 30 compressions and two breaths.

Maintain the cycle until Emergency Medical Services (EMS) professionals arrive at the scene or someone brings an AED to assist you. If you witness signs of life returning to the person, if you find yourself physically exhausted to a point where you can't continue, or if the environment becomes unsafe, you can cease performing CPR.

Please note that these steps are a condensed overview. It's imperative to undergo proper CPR training to learn accurate techniques and procedures.
