Top 3 UX Tools for Web Design

Improving your website's user experience involves three main steps: 1) Gathering data 2) Visually seeing how users behave on your website 3) Forming a hypothesis and A/B testing that hypothesis. UX tools are the only way to accomplish these three steps. That's what I'm sharing with you today.

I've used and reaped the benefits of the three ux tools I mention in this video. Improving user experience is a longterm play and knowing how to utilize these tools has allowed me to extend the time I work with clients (in turn, earning more as a freelancer).

Without the help of the data provided by UX tools like Google Analytics, you are essentially blind and resorting to guesswork when attempting to improve conversion rates. Why continually ask yourself things like "Why aren't more people buying this product?" or "Why aren't more people signing up?" when you can create a system for yourself that revolves around these three UX tools. They give you much clarity. Clarity is good for business.

What do you use to optimize website UX? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks for sharing Ran, nice to see you're so focused on actual conversions when building pages, not just the visual look of them 👏👏👏

I haven't even finished the video. I'm still in the first 2 minutes. I am so happy you said Google Analytics. I'm just now becoming familiar with this whole UX/UI terminology but back in my day (10 years ago), I used Google Analytics, survey's, etc., to completely redesign a wiki space for my support team. The result was increased traffic and less drop off which resulted into less Helpdesk support calls, and satisfied users. I never realized what I did was a whole career, lol.

Thank you for the video, great as usual.
Does anyone mentioned, that Yandex Metrica do the Full Story work for FREE. Yandex is like Google in russian speaking countries, but they have eng.options for their interface, and again - its free.
Features they provide:
1. session replays
2. heatmaps
3. task reports
Hope, that was useful :)

Good list of tools but the title is a bit misleading - these are tools mainly used to improve conversion rates and not user experience. These two things are connected but e.g. having a high conversion rate doesn't mean that people love using your site!

Hey,
I have a question regarding webflow and WordPress.

I work in a small company that needs a redesign of their website.

Well, my question is that the company has their website on their own server and is still set up in WordPress. But I have seen your videos and noticed that webflow is better than WordPress in many ways. Should I switch to webflow in your opinion? And which pricing offer of webflow fits better?

Since I will only create/edit one website with a relatively large number of subpages, I ask myself the question whether webflow is worthwhile and which site plan and which account plan is worth for me/the company.

Oh and I pre-designed the Website as desktop and mobile in Adobe XD. Additionally, I’m not too good at Html CSS and JavaScript.

Thanks for your really well-produced videos.

Sir, thanks for your great videos. Sir my age is 23 and I want to learn a skill to become a freelancer. Which one I should choose graphic design, UI design, web development, video editing.
I have no experience in any of these and I am not good in maths also. Is I am too late to make career in one of these?

Fullstory is creepy. Is it even legal? How about when a user inputs credit card info? Wtf!

So sad we can't use the last two tools in the EU after the highest European Cort ditched the American Privacy Shield two mounth ago. Webflow is gone too for us. Where I live in Germany we have sonmething called "Abmahnung". It only exists here in Germany. There are special lawers who do nothing to collect money from websites, Youtube or ebay accounts with some little errors. If you do a single small mistake with data protection you client may pay thousands of Euros for that. Starts with having no SSL-cerificate and end with a single wrong word in the legal disclaimber or using the wrong tool sending data to wrong counties. Politicians make us a hard life here. there next stupid thig the EU decided is upload filters for copy right protection. You will see a lot less videos with nice content in the future from europe. :(
