Dancing To Your Music - Archie Bell And The Drells - 1973

Between their time working with Gamble and Huff while contracted to the Atlantic label and then signing with Gamble and Huff directly on their TSOP label, Archie Bell And The Drells spent one year away from the Philadelphia music scene. In 1973, they released a single on the Miami based, Glades label, working with songwriter Phillip Mitchell, the single was titled, Dancing To Your Music. The song peaked at #25 on the Cash Box chart, week ending 4/7/73. In 1974, the group would sign with Gamble and Huff's TSOP label and put together a string of disco hits that made the charts through the rest of the decade of the 1970's.
