“Man I’m just tired and bored with myself” was the most beautifully sung part for me

Admit it, this isn’t your first time watching this audition. I think it’s the best audition ever on any singing competition.

When you‘re having a bad day, remember, someone had to go on stage after him.

This cover gives me straight up chills. One of the best acoustic covers ever performed on "The Voice".

This makes Dancing in the Dark a real, existential drama. An improvement on the original in every way.

One of the best covers I've ever heard. Simply brilliant. Perfect english, perfect tones, perfect tempo. Bruce Springsteen should be honored.

I've heard this song a billion times. This is the first time I've listened to it, and the first time I've felt it. This artist has a true gift.

As a young guy growing up in the 70's/80's, this was one of the greatest hits of our age. Not just a song, but a statement at the time. It was the time of young rebels (in a good way), in terms of music. It was also the time where so many original artists wrote/performed music that it is still to this day being remastered/remixed etc. The 60's to 80's was truly a golden age for original music.

Now The Boss, Bruce Springsteen was a legend in the 80's, known for making young guys feel they can do anything stupid, and young girls feeling they are queens. and this song was a lot more fast-paced back then. This gentleman took an original from Bruce Springsteen, The Boss, the rebel, and with all the due respect, down to the baseball cap turned backwards, managed to sing an acoustic masterpiece that I am sure my child-hood hero would approve of.

Well done young sir, you nailed it!

This guy should be a world wide superstar. Most of today's so called top artists can't carry a tune in a bucket without auto tune

This needs an officially recorded version. Absolutely stunning.

I love how Matoma is wearing his heart on his sleeve all the time. He has no filter, he feels music, lets himself be moved and is not afraid to show it. What a beautiful soul this man is.

I must confess I am a voice competition junkie and this is the best first audition I’ve ever heard!

He is brilliant. Please record this song this way so we can listen to it without the irritating clapping! Also, the soundtechnician deserves credit to. He or she knew what was coming and made sure that every nuance of this amazing voice would be heard.

Nobody can sing that song like Bruce Springsteen - - - - - Until now. That was by far the best version I have ever heard. I'm speechless.
