Transformation Seminar: Professor Danny Dorling - When Will Life Return to Normal After the Pandemic

In this talk, Professor Danny Dorling looked at how people in Great Britain have responded to the various waves of the pandemic in terms of their fluctuating sense of how long it will take their life to return to normal, or if they think it ever will.

A regular survey of people across Great Britain has been taken every week or two weeks since 20th March 2020. People have been asked a wide variety of questions in this survey, including about their own mental health. The data is available subdivided in many ways, including by age.

So what we can see when we look at the trends over time, by age, and across different parts of Britain? And what might this mean for how we are changing in terms of how sure we collectively are about ourselves and our futures?
