Fly tying tutorial of a winged paraloop midge dry fly pattern (tiny black adult midge hook #22) upgraded version
Tutoriel de montage du Moucheron ( version améliorée basse flottaison).
Materials list :
Hook: Tiemco TMC 226 BL size # 22
Thread: Semperfli nanosilk 18/0 Black
Body : Condor substitute Veniard Black
Wings: 2 grizzly cape hackles
Legs : 1 Natural Black cape hackle
Thorax : Kapok dubbing Semperfli Black

It was during my travels, fishing rivers with high fishing pressure and large and selective trout, that I was led to tie a smaller pattern ,floating deeper in the water more suitable for calms,may be more realistic... Here again the results were very good, whether on the picky graylings of the Dordogne in Argentat or the big overfished browntrouts of the tailwaters..
Of course, as always, the presentation being more important than the fly, the tippet should not exceed X6.5 .I am often in X7 on the calms, but not less, preferring then to take care of my presentation fishing downstream, sometimes essential on picky fish, especially graylings…
Regarding the pattern presented here, I opted for a black rooster neck hackle, Natural, the fibers of the dyed hackles being thicker in my opinion ... on the other hand, I choose, even if tying it in this case of hackle stacker is more delicate, hackles from the base of the cape, to have the ideal size, which here must be a size smaller than the hook size, (a recommendation for any paraloop tying method ..), therefore # 24, which is practically nowhere to be found, on saddles ...

C'est au cours de mes voyages , à pêcher des rivières réputées ,à forte pression de pêche et à grosses truites méfiantes et sélectives , que j'ai été amené à concevoir un modèle , plus petit et flottant plus dans la pellicule,plus adapté pour les calmes et les lisses, peut être plus réaliste ... Là encore les résultats ont été très bons, que ce soit sur les ombres pointilleux de la Dordogne à Argentat ou les grosses farios difficiles des tailwaters en No Kill...
Bien entendu, comme toujours, la présentation étant plus importante que la mouche, la pointe ne devra pas dépasser les 11 / centièmes... je suis souvent en 10 sur les lisses, mais pas moins , préférant alors soigner ma présentation en pèche aval , indispensable parfois sur les poissons difficiles, notamment les ombres.
Concernant le modèle présenté ici, j'ai opté pour un hackle de cou de coq noir ,Naturel, les fibres des hackle teints étant selon moi trop épaisses pour ce cas précis...d'autre part , je choisis , même si le montage est plus délicat, des hackle pris à la base du cou, pour avoir la taille idéale , qui ici doit être d'une taille inferieure à celle de l'hameçon, (une recommandation pour tout montage paraloop ..), donc # 24 , ce qui est pratiquement introuvable ,sur des lancettes de croupes...
Je répondrai volontiers à toutes vos questions et considèrerai toutes vos remarques dans la section "commentaires" ci dessous , que ce soit sur le montage en lui même ou bien l'utilisation de cette mouche .
