to me "Nick Sleep" in this great book is my role model investor from what I've listened to. All you needed was to buy and hold onto a stock like Amazon and lay back compounding enormous returns. Now thats as genius patient and bold as it gets.

I really enjoyed the book. Nick sleep is interesting...new ideas for me... Howard Marks is like the wise experienced man that we should all pay attention to his wisdom....we do not know what will happen tomorrow but we should where we are( in cycle)... Simple but....

Calm mind, exercise, eat well... very, very interesting (and true) concepts! Over the decades, I lost most of the money I lost by panicking during crashes. Next biggest problem - I fell in love with a certain stock (happened two or 3 times). Third biggest problem - timing the market (seriously, people could have made money by looking at my timing and doing the opposite). I am doing fine (retired at 56), but would be doing soooo much better if I had burned this post into my brain as a young man. :)
