My name is Rayan. Pronounced Ray - An. People always call me Ryan but I'm a girl. It means a door to paradise.

Isn't it so true that once you understand the meaning of your name then you appreciate it more. I'm Ugandan and in my family (four kids) the only people with English names are my parents. We used to get made fun of at school then come home and complain that nobody could pronounce our names properly. I also hated the fact that when we went on holiday we were the kids who just knew there were no mugs or keyrings or magnets with our names on. Then one day my Dad sat me down and explained the meaning of my name "Kainembabazi" which means "she has the Grace". At one point during my birth the doctors asked my Dad who should be saved, the mother or the baby because they didn't think we'd both make it, but by the grace of God, we both did.

OMG meeting him today was so AMAZING he signed my arm and gave me a bunch of hugs... and I though we were gonna Skype with him and I was thinking *it would be amazing if he showed up* and he did...
