All songs recorded in 2011 in Australia with former drummer, Matt Swan, and former guitarist Joe Dennis (yes, it seems like they were a trio initially).

All rights goes to Royal Blood etc etc etc, you know.

This EP is the proof that even if you write awesome songs, it can all go to waste if you're not playing with the right people. Matt Swan is a good drummer but Ben is the reason why Royal Blood became this huge band. It's also amazing to see how small arrangements (for instance Figure It Out's outro) can change the whole dynamic of the song and make it 100x better !

Mike does some more theatrical vocals in these songs than he does the others, plus the bass sounds different, and on top of that you can see their early influences especially in Cannibal Karma and the line “she took my heart and drank my blood” came back in ten tonne skeleton.
