Europe Is Collapsing - Here’s Why I Left!

Europe is crumbling under the weight of socialist policies, excessive taxation, and misguided leadership. Businesses are collapsing, crime is soaring, and innovation is stifled. As a former Investment Bank Director and Wall Street veteran, I’ve seen firsthand the impact of these policies on ambition and opportunity. In this video, I share why I left Europe for good, discuss the economic and social challenges facing the continent, and explore the opportunities available elsewhere. If you feel trapped by the system, it’s time to take control and escape the madness. Join me on this journey toward growth and success!

In Belgium fiscal inspections follow every transaction, from buying a car to a parking ticket. But when a professor with a team of 20 PhD was tracing the distribution of tax euro's, they had to give up after 5y. Government takes 55% tax on income, in return for little service. No audit and no accountability for government, and in bed with corporates, that's the problem.

ONE thing that makes me angry is everytime when someone say EUROPE he means WESTERN EUROPE and NOT EUROPE. Western Europe IS NOT EUROPE, Europe is FAR GREATER than little Western end of the continent. Europe is Eastern Europe, Europe is BALKANS, Europe is CENTRAL EUROPE (Poland, Hungary, Czech and Slovak republics), Europe is RUSSIA and even GEORGIA and ARMENIA. Even more in our times, when Western Europe is essentially a new Pakistan, a new Algeria, a new Turkey, a new Kurdistan, a new Morocco, a new India, a new AFRICA and a new Bangladesh and the REAL europeans becomes minority with the speed of light, to call EUROPE only the Western Europe is insane and crazy. I am from Bulgaria. My country is 1400 years old. We have two great medieval European empires. We invented Cyrillic alphabet. We invented the TZAR power model 400 years before Serbs and 600 years before Russians. We are not collapsing, and we are not dying. Yes, maybe overall population is shrinking, BUT we do not import THIRD WORLD in our country like Western Europe. So, the future is bright for us.

This man is speaking the truth. Europe has already fallen. Medium size business (like me) entrepreneurs are struggling. I desperately want to get out but don't have the wealth to do so. Need a good investor to make profit in large scale

Same here, I left Germany 1997 right after University towards Singapore, after a few Years I went to Panama. Between 10.07 and 20.24 I lived in Switzerland, with 54 I retired and now go to Argentina. Europe is still a great continent, to make vacations but not to live in!

The politicians are not controlled by the vote but by NGO forces.

Small correction, European union is collapsing, not the Europe.

Happy new year Philip, wish you all the best. Thank you for sharing your insights. I completely agree with you, Europe is beyond cure. We need to get out while we still can. Crime has sky rocketed and the government is turning a blind eye. The most crucial things for survival is food, housing and energy and they are attacking all of it.

You nailed it! In more ways than one...
I just don't know what to do with this information. I see decline and fall nearly everywhere.
I was the best in class and was told that if I study Chemistry, that I'd be guaranteed a well-paid and secure job. I did my Ph.D. and have been longer unemployed than employed ever since!
Despite my qualifications, the jobs aren't well-paid, and even less "secure" and I don't just mean that I lost my job twice because of the economic turmoil of my employer, but I mean serious violations of safety regulations, etc. and most employers really try to work you to death and then hire someone else, after you're burnt out.
I have used up my savings multiple times due to losing my job and I don't know how the F I should find stability in my life when I can't tell where I am in a year...
Meanwhile, I feel very insecure about the world looking at inflation, the debt bubble, the crumbling of the Eurozone, the decline of the USA, China, etc., and all this war-mongering and totalitarian madness... BTW: something most of us don't even have on their radar is how bad Europe's crumbling infrastructure and energy politics actually are. We're heading towards a blackout, and if that one hits in a cold winter, it could cause millions of deaths! No war is required! Repairing the grid will take weeks if not months and there's a good chance that e.g. sewage needs to be unclogged for months after the event. Until then, people will probably defenestrate their excrements...

I am from Belgium and my mother passed away 9 months ago and the government got more than euro inheritance taxes 6 months ago. I have received nothing so far. I eat rice and garden vegetables every day because I can only afford a can of sardines when it's on sale. I asked for government assistance twice, but was denied. Is this justice? With my last money I bought a one way ticket out of Europe for 269 euros. When I arrived at the airport I had 46 euros left. Just enough for the bus to get to a friend's house. Always sunny and warm here. Luckily I worked 6 years in the United States and get a very small pension from that.

Hey Hey Philip, I am swiss, it/banking, I have properties in Brazil and Spain, and family properties in CH, While I ve visited most countries around the world I currently still favour to spend time in Spain. More than anywhere else tbh. The med landscape and culture to me is just much better than anywhere else... Paying taxes in CH. Let's see if it will change... I like Asia, but for vacation, I will never feel home with a non latin or germanic language...

If AI was a person, this would be the guy. I'm still not sure if he is real person? The way he talks in the same tone is creepy.

Just out of curiosity do you have any properties you have left for rent in Europe? Many of these 'youtubers' who encourage to leave Europe, USA etc have left properties for rent, they go to Mexico etc and they encourage others to leave 'west too'. But without their properties they would still stay in Europe and go to work like majority of people. There are also a lot of trolls in comments in videos like that.
