Aww their little noises. I had a budgie growing up and his little songs were so cute. And I say he but I’m pretty sure he was a she but we didn’t know until he got older and he never got the blue upper beak area.

I'm so glad youve been making so many nail and beak trim vids. Your towel method has worked wonders for my budgies ❤, ive recently trimmed all their nails, and man was it quick with this method. I used to use a banders grip, and with hooked beaks, you can imagine the damage a little wiggling room gives them the opportunity to do... It took me about 15 minutes do do my 4 budgies (no sanding, just a mini tip trim) when it used to be a whole ordeal. Theyre so much calmer when released too. ❤❤
Though i'd love to see how you first capture these little stinkers... My best method is to do nail trims when its dark out so i can catch them with the lights off 😅

one of my childhood best friends had a few budgies. he was very bonded to his very first one, she was an amazing little bird full of personality. she unfortunately passed away very young from health complications, cancer if i recall correctly. i loved watching her perch on my friend's remote controlled cars like a little driver. thank you so much for all you do 🩷

This is very sweet💛💛… unfortunately i had a bad experience years ago when i took my parakeets to get their nails trim for the first time. Within 10 mins the groomer killed my bird during the process 😔 i still feel responsible to this day

How do you know if two parakeets are a mating pair or not?
My mother has a parakeet and it's true they are very affectionate and social. My mom has a cat named Niko and Francis (the bird) LOVES Niko and Niko doesn't mind. She'll just walk around with Francis on her back, until he tries to groom her.


My mother has 3 cats and 1 bird. Two of the cats are NOT allowed near Francis because they were strays. One is my cat Slippers she was a stray up until last year so she's not even allowed in the room when Francis is out of the cage but all three of the cats know Francis is a pet and not food. They all get along great and my mother wouldn't have kept Francis after the first two week trial period if any of the animals showed any kind of stress, hunting behavior or discomfort. They're all very curious about each other and Francis knows if Oscar or Slippers jumps up to the cage he knows to go to the other side and tell them to go away and call for me or my mother. Parakeets are really smart and funny I recommend them for first time bird owners but they are extremely active too and need a lot of attention because they're smart. Just like all animals do your research before getting one
