ShortShow Description:
Berlin, the romantic era. The young poet Heinrich wants to overcome the inevitability of death through love, but cannot convince his skeptical cousin Marie to join the suicide pact. As Heinrich adjusts to this refusal and is undeniably distressed by his cousin's insensitivity to his feelings, he meets Henriette, a business woman he knows. Heinrich's subsequent offer to an attractive young woman is initially unattractive, that is, until Henriette discovers that he suffers from a terminal illness.
