*Edit:* So I just got a Moschops with Fast Learner and found out what the part about transferring as an adult means. If an adult creature has Fast Learning on it, you can use the Gene Scanner on it and transfer a trait onto it, and that trait will overwrite Fast Learner.

Unfortunately Fast Learner is lost in the process, so no recycling it through your boss army to level them all with a single copy of the trait.

27:30 I assume it allows you to press the switch button on a gene in the gene scanner and it automatically replaces one of the Exp genes, even when the creature is fully matured. But I don't think pulling the exp gene out first and then adding in your preferred gene will work

The one thing i really really like about the gene scanner is the ability to track dino's from across the map. Looking for XYZ creature for tribute items? no longer a problem... well as long as it's on the map. Cant track what the game hasn't spawned in yet. hehe

They basically added Decorations from Monster Hunter to Ark but because it's Ark it can't be easy or straight forward . . .

Traits absolutely need to be added to all maps for free, they are way too op for this kind of dlc pack

I can't wait to see 20 different species of dinos fighting a boss. People are going to use dinos that Never had a chance before in a boss arena. That's going to be awesome!

Educated guess, but I think fast Learner means that you can transfer a different trait onto the creature to replace it even after fully maturing. The trait would be redundant once the creature reaches its level cap, so this is probably there to prevent that.

That second line means that after the creature is maxed or in levels you can give him a new trait and he doesn't need to keep the experience trait for no reason. Pretty useful

The movement speed trait care free could be useful specifically on dire bear who’s speed already naturally increases the longer you are running on it

FYI, mutable traits do not work on a dino that is maxed out with 20 mutations you need to have it on the female base that you are breeding for it to work past 20

13:17 I could see this being good on a diplocaulus since Trilobites drop both Pearls, and Chitin. But they need a TLC before they are of any use (at least let them be able to easily spot Trilobites D: )
