Oh my gosh, i only know how easy to make a bootable USB thumb/flash drive when we did it on class (yes im a student hehe) but i completely forgot what options do i click before pressing the start button. I have watched your other videos of doing a clean install of Windows and the creating and formatting drive partition. I watched them because we're gonna have an actual exam of making a bootable drive, installing windows and disk management. Again, thank you very much!! ❤

So the formatting choice depends on whether you have an "older" device. On to the next YT video in the probably vain hope of finding something specific and detailed.

Great tutorial. Easy to follow. Question: if the old pc is for example Windows 7 Pro x32 bits (3 GB ram), is it common the system says it can´t install Windows 10 x64 version ?? If so, how to avoid this? Thanks.

Learn Windows 10 and Computers what is your concept of an old machine and new machine? how dated do you think the newer ones are supported with gpt and which ones with mbr? im assuming generation 2, 3, 4 and even 6 of intel sockets are considered old and 7 onwards new? also does this have anything to do with motherboard coz iv replaced my mobo from a 2nd to 4th gen over the years and so far rufus has worked, BUT now im moving to ryzen 2nd gen (ryzen 5 2600 to be precise), is that considered a newer machine in the sense of GPT?

You had the Windows 10 files ready to go. When I went to MS site, you have some choice how to get the iso file fore latest Windows 10. I chose create USB drive. I'm confused why I would even need Rufus is Windows 10 downloads to my USB drive already??

what you don't say is it makes 2 partition on the usb drive, so therefore which to choose when booting. Tried both and nothing no windows install nada.

Will this tool allow for win 10 install to HDD, rather than always having to run/boot from USB? I just got a loaner computer from school for a computer class class, and it currently has no OS at all. I have the ISO for a limited win 10 version from the school, bit no DVD burner and must use USB. Thanks.
