Take my advice — I’ve been in this situation before. I found my kneaded eraser in a rock-hard state. I decided to recover it. First, I added a small amount of water and tried to knead it, but it was still so hard that I had to use a knife to cut it into pieces — just like yours.

Then I added a bit more water and kneaded it for 10–15 minutes. After that, I added a small amount of coconut oil and kept kneading. I repeated this process 2–3 times.

The key is to knead it with pressure on a smooth surface. Trust me — it works!"

try to melt/heat it CARFULLY, be cautious of any fumes coming from the eraser, and then shape it in a mold or shallow dish.

I saw a deviant art thread that mentioned the tiniest drop of linseed oil.

Most if them also said to just get another, stating that it's probably just covered in graphite and dust.

My advice might you just have to try to stick them together if they don’t then just put a drop of nail polish remover then needed together it works hope u try it

Rehydrating it by kneading with little soap and water then blotting it dry with a cloth or paper towel

Try putting some lotion in and kneading it before letting it set during the night in a container

I know how wash it with warm water and soap but do it alot of times until its clean

First roll it in to tiny strips to smooth it out then put all of those strips together hope it works for you it did for me

just try Vaseline or any other petroleum jelly if that does not work at in some sticky tack

Add some water then do you know touchland hand sanitizer or just any spray hand sanitiser buy one and do three or more sprays in that situation then knead it and then add some sticky things like soft eraser crumbs or clay hope it helps because i tried it and it worked

Rub on a sticky note and mix to form a glue thing to put it together
