The Three Worst Errors That Can Ruin Your Credit Report When Buying A Home
Показать описание
In today's video, you're going to learn the three worst errors that can ruin your credit report when buying a home!
Buying a home is a process that requires a lot of attention on the part of the potential homeowner. The three main errors on credit reports that can negatively affect your ability to buy a home include something called a mixed file, identity thefts, and sometimes even an improper report of death.
A mixed file is when a credit reporting agency shares information about two or more people on one person’s credit report. Identity theft is another regular problem that can really hinder your ability to purchase your home. Identity thefts regularly result in collections and charge offs on a credit report. If your identity has been stolen, odds are that one of those types of accounts can appear on the report and ultimately drive down your credit score.
An improper report of death can have an impact on your credit score, as well. The problem here is that if you are reported as dead you cannot receive a credit score. If you cannot receive a credit score, you cannot get any form of a mortgage-backed by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac which, can keep you from being able to buy a home. Watch the video to learn more.
