Your break down is 100 percent correct. The way I look at the situation is Jada knew the joke was coming but being that she doesn’t have an Award her ego put on the facial expressions to Will Smith as if she didn’t know the joke was planned. All so Will can self sabotage himself trying to protect what he cares about the most. She didn’t want him to have a mile stone accomplishment over herself in there relationship or household. She knew he was going to get the award. This was all apart of Jada’s plan and the like minded narcissist that don’t like to see good people win. It’s how narcissistic people think and are competitively jealous. I can spot a backstabber before they pick up the knife.
