Bsd also follows this exact formula as many of the scenes are areas in Yokohama (since it takes place in Yokohama obviously) and I remember reading an interview with Asagiri where someone asked where he gets the ideas & inspo for his sceneries and backgrounds and his answer was that everytime he walked through a place in Yokohama he would think "Yep, this looks like a good place where people would try to kill each other"

Another JJK location my weeb self recognized was, after the Shibuya Incident, they cut to various locations in Japan and it shows Dotenbori in Osaka, right on one of the bridges over the river.

As someone who's played a bunch of the Yakuza games, it was super cool to see "Sotenbori" in other media.
