out of the box it doesn't show the schema browser, so why do you go into that first? start where the app starts. then switch to schema browser. I'm a SQL Server guy, and find that Oracle /toad is very busy and confusing. when I select the schema browser it looks nothing like your screen. I have 12.1.1

Except from that, this tutorial is very great.
Edit: Ok, you either drag them with your mouse, or press shift+first and last column from the scope you want to choose, but the last column you click two times. Also when you take only few of them with ctrl, you press last time two times.

I appreciate using a native English speaker. Most of the Oracle guides and tutorials that I've seen are done by Indians and their accent is so thick that it is difficult to follow most tutorials.
