I have a PPP and I honestly just want to throw it away. The new leaves always get stuck or grow all weird. It looks like crap. I have like 150 plants and don’t have issues like this with any other ones.

How long did the new growth take? Looks so promising!

Ooo can we get an update soon please? It would very so interesting to see where your PPP is at now. I really don't know why this is one of my favourite plants 😍

I did mine last spring....you should do it if you get too many pink leaves. Pink can't photosynthesise...so you cut it back to green 😊

All the best looking ones I have seen have a moss pole. I think it came from a climbing plant so it needs the support and ability to root into a vertical support ro reach its potencial.

I hope you rooted the cuttings in water because they will root out and you can then plant those in soil as well.

No, it will be more bushy, but still ugly 😆 I hate this plant. But I have learned that every time I chop and prop, I get more pink.

Fun fact! This is usually a sign of confusion that the plant goes through, sometimes this occurs for often when a plant has been cut multiple times. Addition, only one of the grow points usually survive mainly the strong one. Although it would be so cool to have a full ppp

Hear me out… you see that half variegated leaf? Cut above that and you mayyyy get a full pink leaf, like I did.

If you cut the vertical stems you stimulate hormones to grow lateral shoots that stem creating a bushy effect. Cut the lateral stems you get tall and skinny growing longer not bushier

I chopped mine too, the cuttings in put in Water and it makes new leaves now. The remaining plant does nothing. Maybe there is some root rot going on 😢

correct me if i’m wrong, but won’t it just continuously grow from only one of those growth points? Therefore wouldn’t it be better to chop and prop then plant all the props in with the mother plant to achieve a more “full” look?

Pink Princess are a pain in the head to take care.

It was OK at first but to make it better you should have made it to a bonsai plant
