The fact most of the hate towards jimin (including misgenderation) mostly comes from gay men.
That one tweet about gay kpop twt hating jimin Because he's pretty, secure in his identity, plump lips and have a loving father will always be proven right.

Great video. I agree with most of your points and i wanted to add mine.
Kpop stans love to talk about how idols should not be forced to under go plastic surgery but thay are also the first people to be making fun of an idol's face if they are not conventionally attractive.RM literally released two of the best MVs of the year and the only conversations I saw people were having about it was about him being "ugly" ( which he definitely isn't )

This honestly needed to be said. Rosé has been looking concerningly skinny and people need to stop defending it

Idk if this is relevant or not but the lsf hate train is crazy and I'm not even a fearnot. Ppl are just not ready to take accountability of their actions and that their words actually hurt idols. These same ppl will then go and trend hashtags on twt when any idol will do something to themselves.

Dark or girl crush concepts not always mean "sexy" look at babymonster's "Sheesh" or "Batter up". Although i don't like these song myself personally but the girls are doing well doing these concepts. I am not saying that illit should follow the steps of babymonster or new jeans. Obviously they should adopt there own style.

honestly i think the cute concept fits illit perfectly, but i think they should have songs that fit their vocal range. for example, their kcon cover for what is love by twice was FIRE

I only disagree ith one of your points, and that is the one about not listening to a group's music because of their fans. I am black, and being a black k-pop stan is... tiring to say the least. There are at least a few groups that I refuse to interact with because of how their fandom reacted to a racism scandal, i.e. calling people slurs and saying that the trash is taking itself out when an idol is called out and fans are disappointed. In just about any other situation I'd think to seperate the fans from the artist but in k-pop I can't help but wonder what the idol did to create a fandom full of racists and/or what the fandom does that welcomes racism. I know that this is just a part of what k-pop is at this point, but I like to at least have a limit when it comes to what I'm willing to deal with and, for me, that ends when a large portion of a fandom becomes racist just to defend their fave. I guess it just taints the artist for me, so I keep the artist at an arms length at the very least.

Some kpop stans like to flex their group's social media achievements when anyone be talking about musical or artistic achievements, I won't name the fandoms but the amount of times I saw stans congratulating their fave on getting on billboard, being praised by another huge artist or having streams or having albums sold out, there's always another fandom coming in and talking about THEIR fave social media achievements, like how tf you comparing being one of the most streamed artist on a music platform to getting most likes on Instagram or followers... I always found it embarrassing

I think most people stanning pre-debut groups are company stans or stans of an already established group under the same company. Like for the TXT example, I'm pretty sure more pre-debut stans were BTS fans. This mainly goes for big companies/successful older groups; smaller companies usually put out a lot of pre-debut content, sometimes months in ahead and even including music releases, which are probably what gets people's attention there.

I’ve actually noticed a lot of idols looking more and more skinnier. I don’t know what’s going on in Korea or the industry that has caused this new pressure of being extremely thin. Yes, it always been harsh, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen it this bad.

What i don't understand is that many armies say that bts is not K-pop or above that, but then get mad when kpoppies dont include them in threads???

Amazing video and I also want to recommend you for bringing and making this huge point .... people were going apeshit on RM for not taking a stand on the Palestine conflict...like get a brain ..you don't need an idol to analyse your personal beliefs...that idol may not have a personal opinion about any political issues they choose this career for a reason if they were very interested in politics they would be politicians..no?? And sometimes idols and celebrities send charity to people affected by conflicts or disasters but they are strictly humanitarian and should be viewed as that and not attached to political ideology...another thing I am very sure companies have strict control over what is allowed in social media by any idol please leave them alone ...they love all their fans because fans make them very very rich and really don't care about their caste creed religion sexuality skin colour or any other characteristics.. period

the thing I hate is defending idols when they are wrong and acting like a doctor to defend them also.
like " my fav's leg was injured 5 years ago that's why she/he can't dance"
that's what makes these idols continue on this path, like he doesn't do anything and barely dances or sings or leaves in the middle of the performance, and then they try to defend him.
or "My fav has breathing problems " but she/he smokes?
like wtf? just bfr lol

While i do agree about taking our government officials accountable, most of the people who are in charge of running campaigns to encourage idols to speak up are also donating and making campaigns to directly help palestinians... theyre not just random stan accs that are keyboard warriors (even tho they exists) i dont agree on harassing the idols but since Jin is out of the military now, he isnt under any regulations anymore and its fine to try and educate and encourage him to talk about palestine because of his influence (not harassment ofc) i hate the fact that some armys will brag about bts' influence and their visit to the UN and white house but then report armys weverse letters regarding palestine (which btw has no threatening or violent messages in them) just weird.
