I prefer Natural aloe vera gel, wash it properly, cut it into slices or extract with the help of spoon or knife and keep it in a closed jar in refrigerator for storage (if stored, it works well for 3-4 days )

To keep your skin healthy, this is what worked for me: First thing in the morning, cleanse your face thoroughly. Choose a mild, gentle face wash like I use riceberrry facewash of littleexttra and then apply moisturizer to your face. Riceberry includes antioxidants that shield the skin from free radicals, helping to prevent signs of aging. Do not overcleanse your face. Only cleanse it in the morning and before bed. And keep moisturizing your face throughout the day. Also, don't neglect sunscreen, even indoors. The white patches in skin occur when your skin is already dry and due to the exposure from sun. So you must prevent your skin to be dry and protect it from harsh exposure of sun.

I would take the natural aloe Vera because I have it in home and to prevent itching and irritation it is better to slice it and keep it open for sometime and then use it

My concern is the number of patolhogen and parasites found on the aloe vera. Commercial gel is sterilized and has about 1% food grade preservatives to prevent pathogens from contaminating it.
If you want to use the gel from plants, then highly recommend you boil it down for about 5 minutes first to remove all possible pathogens and parasites.

I use both. I use the leave for one of my ingredients for making my organic hair and skin products and for healing wounds. However, I use the gel from Whole Foods Market for drinking and mixing in my organic drinks, salad dressings, and foods. They both work very well.
