Bono wasn't heard from for a bit (you can hear on the audio here that he sounds a bit different..) and that gave Evans space to really play.

I am a wimp when it comes to THC, mushrooms and LSD. With all those people and the massive surrounding trippy screens I’d probably end up in the ER. Now a small pre show quick toke and a few beers…no problem.

That pure cool white they’ve been using for the bright white light moments is just too cold and sterile. I always feel this way when I see it. The videos being in soap-opera–style 60 frames per second (instead of cinematic 24fps) doesn’t help. Enough complaints. Amazing band, video, and venue ❤

Part of me is fascinated by the tech and the brilliant visuals, but at the same time, the screen is so big and makes the band look so small, I wonder if it takes away from the band, music, and people around you.

I went not knowing at all what to expect going to night 1 and paid nothing for my ticket.

I soon realized the gimmick of the sphere and how phish is probably the worst possible act to be playing it.

This is a venue for a Vegas residency act that normal people who travel to Vegas choose to see as one of the shows specifically for the gimmick and show. Phish has 0.0 business playing here. This is like the laser light show in town that you bring your grandparents to, but instead of an orchestra bad music is happening and you’re surrounded by a bunch of drug addicts with PTO who are on zoom meetings when not seeing Phish.

Phish at the imax science museum is a great idea on paper. But this was just cheesy and cringy to me. All imo of course.
