like her or not, kim kardashian is an icon. a legend in her own right. she WILL go down in history as a mover and shaker in her industry, similar to the marilyn monroes of yesteryear. but is this a good thing? or are we putting potentially problematic people in positions of huge power and influence? kim kardashian has made no secret of the fact that she desired fame and fortune from a young age, and would stop at nothing to get it. and she got it! but at what cost? and what effect on society has her achieving her goal of world domination had? kim and her sisters are generally regarded as having had a negative influence on beauty standards everywhere. but is that fair? or is kim simply a victim of fame and fortune?
