Have had mine for a week & am very happy with it.I have a few cameras & t.v.’s connected but my main purpose is for gaming for the Xbox, no more that should have been a double kill or triple it turns out it is, I’ve got reported for cheating witch is funny, never had that problem! Faster yes latency is hovering around 30 download 600 upload 10, ping is 16 .The netgear RAX 200 is what I had before some #’s are better down is 670 upload is 12 latency 22, ping 20… modern warfare against computers sucks so & turning it off in your settings prolongs you finding a match in my experience & was tired of waiting to find a lobby. In my opinion computers have the upper hand regardless of what you do. Hope this helps.

currently have ATT fiber 1gb speeds and only have the included Fiber Modem/router.
I have Ethernet ports around my apartment that give me steady 1k speeds but wifi is hit or miss sometimes.

Would this be overkill ? Apt is about 890sqft

So you have to take the Ethernet out the modem to put the nighthawk Ethernet into the lan port in the modem? Why can you put it in a different Ethernet port? 😤

Wi-Fi 7 has been finalized for almost a year now and Netgear is still using the same excuse why MLO is still not enabled as a firmware update. Do not buy Netgear! They will probably release a complete new line of routers by the time they get to it leaving this top model unsupported.
