I worked in a retail store 2 years ago and it was a busy day with only one other worker with me on the shift; the supervisor. Then during some down time after my break he asked if I'd spoken to a woman like "this" who wanted napkins and described her to me to which I said no. Apparently she was waiting by the curtain that separates the aisles area with the bodega of the store area so he asked if she needed help with something to which she said that she was waiting for the worker to come back with the napkins she asked for, but I was the only other worker and well into my break. So he'd gone in, handed her the napkins himself and went to the cash register with her. He then checked the cameras and saw her speaking briefly to thin air then going to the curtain and waiting there for a good few minutes. There's also a bunch of stuf that would happen at some other store from the same chain when I moved to work over there but thankfully I never really saw anything, just knew that all the workers being genuinely shaken was too much coincidence, but that's my opinion.
