We were on a cross-country out of Pax and stopped for gas. Forgot Sporty's was here until we landed. Appreciate the good video from the Pilot Shop. That BuNo is now at the flight test museum in Patuxent River.

This one of the oldest CH-46 helicopters still flying. The Bureau Number is 152578 and she was built in 1966 as a early Delta model.

The first time I flew on one of these birds my Gunny told me to make sure that it was leaking hydrolic fluid. He said if it was leaking it means it has it and it won’t crash. It it doesn’t leak then it’s out and you’re screwed. 😂. Not sure how true it was but Every time I got on one I would look for the leaks.

I've been trying to find out if and where a civilian might be able to go for a ride on a 46.

Cover your eyes the entire time or else some dust may fling randomly

I was in the Marines. I flew in a lot of them. How do I get a ride as a civilian? Do you know anyone who does rides in a 46 or a 47?
