We have a great crab fishery on the east coast of canada prices should soar this spring with their fishery cancelled. I pray ours holds out and does not go the way of our Northern cod.

Yea the most regulated fishing in the world they control every aspect of the season and they watch how much is taken so to say to extinction is a bit drastic

I worked on a lobster boat in NY / RI / CT back in the 1970’s. Toughest job I ever had. But, I was making $20 / hr in 1973 = $134 / hr today. We never had a 1st Mate like Mendy, tho. HOTCHA!!
