Rally van Staden 2022 - SS1: Staden-Zarren 1 - all cars (only priority, VAS didn't start)
Показать описание
The first stage from the 11th Rally van Staden.
The priority drivers, who are here to get used to the roads for the Ypres Rally Belgium, were competing in a separate classification with only stage times and no final classification so the regional drivers still had the chance to take the victory and stage wins.
Unfortunately the stage got cancelled after the priority drivers due to the crash of Marco Bulacia (316, Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo) (not in the video). So they are the only ones we saw here.
Andreas Mikkelsen (313, Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo) was the fastest and completed the stage in 6:20.5, 2.1 seconds before Stéphane Lefebvre (301, Citroën C3 Rally2) and 3.8 seconds before Chris Ingram (315, Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo). Vincent Verschueren (305, Volkswagen Polo GTI R5) was the first Belgian on +4.9, 5th in the stage results, 0.4 seconds after Nikolay Gryazin (314, Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo).
Rest of the top 10 stage results:
6. Grégoire Munster (304, Hyundai i20 N Rally2) +5.5
7. Yohan Rossel (302, Citroën C3 Rally2) +5.9
8. Gino Bux (303, Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo) +7.9
9. Georg Linnamäe (312, Volkswagen Polo GTI R5) +12.1
10. Bernd Casier (307, Ford Fiesta Rally2) +16.6
Unfortunately there was an even bigger delay on SS3, so it could well have been held... But anyway, we went to SS4 instead and saw the priority drivers once more :-)
Enjoy the video!
