I hope films like this are shown in schools! This just might be all it takes to get kids interested in our world's recycling issues!

The City of Kirkwood in cooperation with Republic Services has found a way to recycle plastic grocery bags. Plastic grocery bags are made out of what is called "Film" plastic.

The fact that so many people are saying it’s a scam bothers me as if shredding something can’t possibly be understood by the masses anymore . Recycling is a good thing .

This is probably very interesting but the background 'noise' was so annoying I stopped watching.

The background clicking noise/music stopped me from watching this video, even though I was very interested in the subject.

I'm a little bit suspicious of that explanation at 4:47. I thought that there would be an issue with making the plastic white/clear again, after plastic of all different colours are involved. I wonder have been those bottles in the video actually made from recycled plastic

It's terrible that colorful glossy cardboard still exists today - which mostly includes a layer of plastic - drastically reducing the maximum recyclability of this material.

Thanks, you missed the Eddy current separators, love seeing cans flying off the line, but you got most of the other techniques, yes there is some very innovative tech used.
I would not want to work on an MRF picking line, been there and seen them, very hard unpleasant work, so thanks to those who do these jobs, hope they are well paid, but I know they are not.
