I'm so getting this stick!
I'll stick it to the TV, connect a DAC through the USB and stream music 24/7.. I hope it is actually a full version of windows.

Really excited about this. Planning to purchase once it's released.

Hard to believe this is a full blown windows x86 PC. Makes the zotac pico look huge!

This also has the potential to be a great desktop replacement for people that have casual needs.

If this device performs as advertised, we have a legitimate game changer coming out of CES!

You guys really make awesome videos. Thanks for that, and what a beautiful hand !
Now about the product itself that's really awesome considering that it has the same specs of a low-end Intel-powered tablet, which means that you can even use it a secondary computer that you can easily travel with. I also love the fact that you can install Linux on it, which might be less resource-hungry than Windows 8. I think that it's much better than owning a smart TV.

I have more doubts than resolutions, it's just a compact Win 8.1 with Bing? x86 arquitecture? could run x86 software? pseudo-android engine? Because there's already hella good android devices with even playing 4K around $169 bucks.

Can you make this thing power on remote? Or get the tv of the wall-mount to reach for the compute stick, like on my android tv-stick....???

How well does it handle hd mkv file? I was looking for something that can handle mkv files for the living room.

Is this powered by USB or AC?  Hope Intel, or whomever mass produces this, packages it with a Chromecast like HDMI extender. My TV's ports face backwards, and there is not enough room to accommodate this behind it.

Would of just put a hdmi port on it, some tvs have odd hdmi port placement. then you can like mount that unit on the back of the tv or wall mount, to make arcade cabinets, digital picture frames out of hold tvs, possibles are endless.

This compute stick, would it be good for say hooking to a TV and just watching netflix and surfing the web?? As it stands I've got an older laptop doing the job and it doesn't really like 1080p or HD NetFlix and am looking for a cheep upgrade. I was looking at a NUC but they are fairly expensive for watching some Netflix and YouTube.

Not gonna lie, this device has really piqued my interest. I was initially looking at HP's Mini Stream and Pavilion to hook up to my "dumb"-TV but the Compute Stick appears to be the better option. I presume there's onboard BT and WiFi, right?

Still more powerful than a last gen console

What is the power source? Does it use a DC adapter? I know HDMI ports with MHL feature provide power, but would that be enough to run an x86 PC?
