That's my aunt Lynn's house, I remember climbing into that truck every day asking her to take me on a ride. Thank you for bringing it back to life!❤

Chris has the best "Will It Run" content on Youtube.
I've watch a bunch of these types of videos, and other videos are typically a 3 hour affair with no editing and will put you to sleep with their lack of character.

I just noticed myself get a little grin watching that engine running right before you convinced the last cylinder. Something very soothing and satisfying about watching this stuff. Thanks yall.

The great thing about Jen is she just keeps smiling no matter what crazy crap you drag her into to! Yes, can I please ride home in a dust covered broken down piece of shat! 😂

I’ve watched a ton of your videos and always impressed with your mechanical knowledge and genuine positive attitude. Gus is a bonus! He’s awesome and so fun to see him in your videos. Thanks for the content.

You drove a testiclela to a auto parts store. Bought 20 gallons of oil products and chemicals to get a 454 Chevy to run. THAT DID
Liked and subscribed. : )

That was so neat seeing those guys coming out to help you. They looked just as happy to get that old suburban going as you were.

I love your never give up attitude! The Suburban is great and I'd love to see you guys drive it back home. The people in Vegas are super nice as well, it was great of those guys to help out with the wheels. Can't wait for episode 2!

Those old 454s are a beast. My step dad had an early 80s with no cat and I had a jetski that took 110 octane (low-lead) premixed fuel. Well, he ran that 2 stroke premixed 110 octane with lead and the thing just ran like nothing.

Also, welcome to the west coast/desert. You'll find lots of old vehicles with no rust. My 05 Sierra and 05 Ram both have no rust while others on the east coast have rotted rockers, cab corners, bedsides, etc.

I like that you don't complain and don't give up easy. Your a good mechanic. Your girl friend is also very helpful.

No arrogance, humble and doesn't have the need to make viewers laugh at corny things. Very refreshing, very much appreciate your instructional content. Keep it up.

Just wanted to say how much i enjoy your videos. I enjoy Dereks video and not knocking him at all, But all the silly talk gets old. Yours is so much better. Your editing, content and sense of humor is so much better! You will soon be the new King of this type of Video!

I think it might be worth a new manifold and fuel pump. Nice work.

My first car was the family hand-me-down 1977 Chevy Suburban 3/4 ton 454. What a monster :) Back when you could put any kind of fuel except diesel in it to run. I don't care how de-tuned they were or anything else, that ride will always be my favorite. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
