As you said, it looks like Nike created this as a cheaper alternative of Zoom Vomero 5, to compete with New Balance 530, Asics Gel 1130 (GT-2160) and others. I like the design of V2K Run, but I don't have plans to cop it in near future. I already have Y2K sneakers from new balances and asics lol

V2k does not have the same cushioning technology as Vomero. Vomero has zoom air unit whereas v2k do not.
