Listen - DropsteR || Exile Theme [Dream SMP Original Song]

This is my second time ever writing a song, I really wanted to make something original based on my favourite arc from the Dream SMP though I'm not really that much of a musician myself. I worked really hard on this though! So hopefully it sounds alright xD. If you can't tell by the thumbnail, the song is inspired by the Exile arc and written from Dream's POV. Hope you guys like it ^^

Oh my GOD, that was FANTASTIC. I love the wording making it sound like he's comforting, yet controlling, he's telling lies and doing whatever he can to keep Tommy with him. The additional little whispers for secrets and then that beat DROP made it much more powerful, it's him getting angry when Tommy doesn't listen. He just wants to be Tommy's friend, why wouldn't he want that? Dream's his only friend after all

You know exile was rough when the only sadist appearance ever of it was a Twitter post and a bloopers reel 💀

Ok so at 0:26 there is a backwards message which reads, 'It's nor your time to die' after the song says 'Don't you wish you were dead?' If you didn't know this is a reference to one of Tommy's lore streams where everyone goes to look at the christmas tree in DreamSMP and Tomym can't go. He stand over the edge of a path in the nether and looks over, about to jump into the lava, Dream stops him and says 'It's not your time to die yet Tommy' That is such a cool reference in such a cool way I think I found another too. At around 1:33 after the song says 'Will they show up to your party' there is another backwards message which says 'Hardly want you anyways'. This is pretty self explanatory as no one shows up to Tommy's party except Dream. And at around 1:16 there is a backwards message that says 'You're like a little annoying bug in my room so I'll take you and I'll make sure you stay outside'. This is what Dream said to Tommy on his second say of exile. I love all these i don;t think I've seen anyone talk about it but they're really cool!

This is exactly how I imagine a Dream song should sound, the heck. Simple but engaging and captivating. It makes you feel like you’re in trouble even though you know Dream is lying and that’s exactly how it felt during this arc, absolutely amazing how that was captured.

This does such a good job capturing the emotions from Exile. It’s sugar coated manipulation and twisting words and I love it. It’s so good!

I don't know how to explain it but it sounds like all the words are connected when you would sing and it made it fit a creepy and ghostly-ish vibe and the audible whispers that you cant make out adds on to the creepy aura this song lets off and the words are so catchy and the beat too I also love how the song seems to be getting alittle louder like dreams getting impatient for tommy to realize that he "cares" about tommy and this part

you can tell hes getting desperate and the part after you can really tell dream is kinda loosing it too, this is kinda just what I pick up on this song LOL but this is absolutely a masterpiece I cant stop re-listening, great work!

1. The Tommy scene (which it’s about lol)
2. Kind of the Ranboo scene
3. Charmspeak (which is basically an ability that some Aphrodite kids have which can convince people against their will to do something)
