Tiruchirappalli (Tamil Nadu), Mar 13 (ANI): To crackdown illegal trade of exotic birds, forest officials conducted raids at various places in Trichy on March 12. More than 600 green parrots and 100 starling birds were kept in cages for sale. Accused involve in illegal trade will be fined under Wildlife Protection Act. All the birds will be released in the forest areas.(NK)
