Active Energy Control allows users to adjust energy consumption levels and total cooling capacity by controlling the maximum frequency of the compressor motor. Upon pressing the Active Energy Control button, the maximum frequency (Hz) of the motor will be reduced to limit electricity consumption.

What's the difference between your Energy Saving Function and Active Energy Control Function? We are confused.

So is it better to buy an oversized model then? If I buy a huge aircon for a small room, I can always run it on step three and use less electricity than if I buy a smaller one that I run at full or almost full power most of the time?
