Idea:
A bunch of randomly activating shriekers behind the rift, spread out in groups that vary in number so that screams of various volumes randomly come out of the rift.

The problem starter makes the whole mythology more chobblesome so it's a win-win :)

If you ever want to mess around with the new disc, here's something interesting about it. You'll have to count to 15 whole seconds, and at seconds 5, 11, and 13 play the respective discs. If you time it right, they'll sync up and it sounds like only one disc is playing.
