After those Tests I'm not sure why you would STILL buy X570 - ASUS B550 VRM Testing

because some higher b550 models cost the same or more than a Tuf X570 Gaming Plus, that goes for $165 in usa.
that has pcie gen 4 to everything, and more USB gen 2 ports to play with.

A usb external dvd drive is fairly cheap and handy.
Edit: According to GN, disc drives are still common/popular in Japan?

@der8auer as a student learning German in school, I can not thank you enough for making these videos in both German and English.

it might also help that these videos are much more interesting than some of my lessens.

Why? More PCIE gen4 lanes, more SATA, faster USB superspeed and that's for merely a few more bucks?

I have still two DVD drives :) One external and one SATA. I have on some CDs/DVDs OS for Z87 or win7 for x370/x470, Barbonet XP for Z170 etc :)

You buy X570 for connectivity, I think. The Aorus Master B550 (for instance) has an amazing VRM, but if I want to use two M.2 NVME drives, the main PCIe slot goes down to x8.

I have a cd drive. But the cd included is useless since I always download stuff off the website so that I have the most up-to-date drivers

I still have clients whos ask for cd for motherboards and GPUs
and they think the included software is great and anything download from the internet is trash
and it is really a pain in the neck to convince them that is not the case

I´m happy with my x570, but if the b550 boards were available when I bought it 8 months ago, it´s more likely I would have bought a b550 instead.

PS/2 is actually an extremely useful port under some niche situation. I have encountered some weird situation where the USB driver just stopped working for some reason. The PS/2 port at least allowed me to plug in a keyboard and work in the BIOS

Im so glad motherboards still have a ps2 port! I had multiple cases where usbports wouldnt turn on before windows was booted. So connecting a ps2 keyboard was easier then clearing the CMOS. But it does looks very old school tho. 😂

You deserve way more subscibers, from all the tech youtubers you are the least arrogant but yet you know the most and make 2 language videos. Great work!

Per CCX overclocking was added to the bios in AGESA 1.0.0.4, I've had it on my Gigabyte X370 K7 for about 7 months now.

I have x570 tuf wifi and x570 crosshair viii, can recommend both and the tuf is the better value by far but the crosshair is sexy and cool

I like that there isn't a fan on the chipset.

I think by temperature "tolerance" you mean "variance", Roman! Good testing as always.

9:00 I do have a bluray drive that I use for ripping discs, but I would _never_ waste the time using the driver CD that came with a product when I could just get the latest firmware and drivers online. A small USB-key would make much more sense, assuming it's writable and can be reused.
