Your content rocks, girl 🖤 Finally someone covers one of the outstanding creations, gems of modern darkwave/postpunk/witch music.

My personal favorite album of 2021. I personally disagree with you on some things (Solstudor was my favorite track off the album), but overall this was a great review. I hope this band gets more attention in the coming years. Nice job 👍

The chorus in Osynileg reminds me of New Order, which is a good thing.

It''s really cool that you are reviewing this great band and your pronunciation sounds great!
I do really disagree with you on the album, but that's the cool thing about personal taste.
Kaelan Mikla deserves more discussion in the public sphere, and they'll always provoke reactions.

Thanks for the review👍
I’m glad we’re all different, I have a different opinion, I’m mildly disappointed by choosing to refine and ‘standardise’ their music Kaelan Mikla (my second favourite group of all time) have chosen a more mainstream and ‘safe’ approach with this album, I hope their next album will see them incorporate more of their punky hard edged and experimental approach (I do love the album cover artwork)I’m not saying it’s a bad thing for one album to be this way as a pleasant tangent, but I feel they have so much more potential so — release the beast within!
I did find the songs here enjoyable though not really memorable and not so much in the way of variety compared to previously — with two exceptions ;
Solstodur ; I have to disagree with you this is an outstanding song - vintage KM at their best.
The second outstanding track is Sirenur which has become one of my favourite songs of all time from any artist.No more needs to be said.
I’m inclined to buy it for these two tracks alone! (The others are pleasant listening which is fine enough but I believe as regards to an album, KM haven’t reached anything like their full potential yet — they are that good)
PS you’re braver than me in speaking Icelandic, sounded good!
