Показать описание
Releasing from the Disney Vault and coming to Blu-ray on August 21, 2010 for the first time is The Aristocats Special Edition with an all-new digital transfer. It is the 20th animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series and is based on a story by Tom McGowan and Tom Rowe. The talented voice cast include Phil Harris, Eva Gabor, Liz English, Gary Dubin, Dean Clark, Sterling Holloway and Roddy Maude-Roxby. It was the last film to be approved by Walt Disney himself and the first to be produced after his death in 1966.
Set in Paris, France in 1910, the film tells the tale of the kind and eccentric millionairess Madame Adelaide Bonfamille who wills her entire estate to her high-society cat Duchess and her three kittens Marie, Berlioz and Toulouse. Only upon the cats' death will the fortune be given to her English butler Edgar. Hearing of this, the greedy, bumbling butler is unwilling to wait and plots to pull off the ultimate capnap caper. Left in the countryside far from home, Duchess and the kittens meet the rough-and-tumble alley cat, Thomas O'Malley and best friend Scat Cat and his band of swingin' jazz cats, who help them find their way home and end up saving the day.
The DVD and Blu-ray special features include the deleted song "She Never Felt Alone", Disney Song Selection, "The Sherman Brothers: The Aristocrats of Disney Songs" featurette, "The Great Cat Family" excerpt from the September 19, 1956 TV show, "Bath Day" cartoon short from October 11, 1946, virtual kitten set top, "The Aristocats Fun with Language" game and The Aristocats scrapbook. Exclusively on Blu-ray is "The Lost Open" alternate beginning and "Oui Oui Marie" music video.
