She was an unhappy child, she was abused by a relative, thought about changing her gender, shaved her head to spite everyone and dressed tastelessly and cheaply, for which she went through cruel ridicule and even beatings from classmates, up to a concussion.
Ruby Rose spent her entire childhood traveling around Australia with her mother, an unrecognized artist, who barely made ends meet. And in each new school, the girl faced real hell.
Everything was decided by one accidental photo shoot for a fashion magazine and the subsequent move to Germany on a school exchange program. There Ruby blossomed, took second place in a modeling competition and returned to her homeland as a self-confident girl. Having beaten a thousand applicants, Ruby Rose got a job on television, became a correspondent at the Olympic Games and the face of Maybelline and Swarovski and released her own clothing line.
Soon her unusual appearance was noticed in Hollywood. In one year, she starred with Milla Jovovich, Jason Statham, Vin Diesel and Keanu Reeves, and her former school bullies still write her letters of apology.
