As a kid when I used to catch crawfish in the river close to my grandparents' house I was always taught to look around in the distance for dark clouds. If I saw any I was stay out of river and go home.

No severe weather where I live. The title is misinformation.

These kind of storms and flash floods are normal in the desert. Every year people are sadly swept away by the floods because they don’t heed the warning to keep a very close eye on the weather, especially during monsoon season. There is nothing sensational about this, or abnormal. These floods happen every monsoon season.

Stop saying extreme weather, say climate change.

0:43 'she wasn't sure they're naked', I know that feeling too well after waking up basically each day

It's not mother nature, it's human behavior.

Yet we can only get sprinkles in NM. Nothing but extreme heat here, but that's every year. Hope everyone is safe

This wasn't the Grand Canyon **eye roll** It's Havasu falls on the Havasupai Native reservation. It's on Havasu creek Which is south of the Colorado river and west of the North Rim Grand Canyon. . . BY MILES

Extreme weather events have always occurred.

The only difference with man-made climate change is, that they will occur more often and more violently.

This will only stop (at the attained level) if we completely stop emitting greenhouse gasses.

However: Unless we find ways to remove greenhouse gasses from the air, it will never go back to the way it was before...

And all that's only if we don't reach the tipping points of new unstoppable natural greenhouse gas sources.

So, people didn't check the 5 day weather reports ahead of time or suddenly the weather shifted?
