Filipino Paris Olympians honored with heroes' parade in Manila

The City of Manila, in cooperation with the MMDA, organizes a heroes' welcome parade for the Philippines' historic Olympians on Wednesday, August 14, one day after their arrival from Paris. The parade will start at the Aliw Theater, pass through Roxas Boulevard, turn at Rizal Park, and go through Taft Avenue before culminating at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex, where medalists like golden boy Carlos Yulo honed their craft.

We're so proud of our Filipino athletes, kung sa malalaking bansa di na big deal ang Olympic gold medal but for smaller countries like ours, it's a national pride.
