The 1990-1997 Town Car is the most sought after version; you knew what this car was coming down the road, and the 2003-2010 model was nice as well. Lincoln is a far better car than Cadillac, especially for reliability, and the Town Car is no exception, but Lincoln needs a large rear drive sedan and coupe for it's market...

I love watching the test driver leaning into turns like he's on a bike!! lol gotta love that 70's cop-like steering, suspension & bench! The driver's mustache and shades fit the theme, too!!

I now own my mom's 1996 Lincoln Town Car 249k + original miles. No engine rebuild or transmission rebuild yet

I drove one from this model generation. I booked a compact car back in 96, but Budget had none on their lot, so they upgraded me to a Town Car for free. 😁 I'd never buy a car like this, but it definitely made a leisurely ride that weekend.

I had a 1990 town car. The Michelins were gone at 34, 000 miles. The motor, tranny and ride were excellent. Two fingers steering at highway speeds. For such a heavy car, the 4.7 liter V8 had good pickup.I had 6-way heated leather seats.Good car, great comfort, good gas mileage. Car had a Mafia-style 10 body trunk.

Lincoln car 🚗 are my favorite, they are the best luxury town car ever to be built in the 90th, but I appreciate the service and the rating. Keep it up Motor Week.

I hope someday we go back to this American luxury leading the way these were such great cars, and although people associate them as old peoples car, if Ford spent money, Lincoln could’ve been the leading brand of the world

This was a great evolution for the TC. And it just got better with the introduction of the 4.6L engine, and then with the next major body updates. Probably the all around best sedan in the world.

I took my '90 Towncar to the drag strip, ran a 19.6 at 68mph, of course it had 150k miles on it.

Ford should have updated the Towncar and put the Mustang 5.0L with 6 sp automatic. It would sell like ... well they would sell tons of them.

I own a '91 Town Car with the 4.6L.  I love it.  34k miles on the clock, it is my weekend cruiser.

This generation of Town Car, as well as the following generation, offered the quietest ride in the luxury market. There was so little road noise, I remember all I could hear was myself breathing.
