Why don't you go back even further to the '80s. When Paul Volker raised interest rates 20% to curve inflation. It didn't crash the markets, it cleared the way for one of the best economic booms we've seen. Which was called the Go-Go 80s. If they just left interest rates alone the 80 boom never would have happened.

Tightening started in late 2017 (Oct I believe) and check when BTC topped...at least make sure the data is correct. Also started at a fraction of the amount
