Tebogo is the most versatile sprinter. His stride is so smooth, it looks like a rotary engine. Everyone else looks like a piston engine, and Usain Bolt is the King of all piston engine.

Tebogo gave the green light on matt hudson-smith's 300m proposal in his post-race interviews and im honestly more excited about that than any of his other races this year

Bolt actually turned 22 during the 2008 Olympics. The whole stadium sang happy birthday! He actually won gold in the 100 before turning 22. If they ever fix the schedule, Tebogo can absolutely be the first to pull off the 200/400 double since MJ. With Botswana having such a strong relay team, he can also realistically win the 4 x 400. Best sprinter since Bolt without question!

Tebogo is in a special category, he's pretty much the only athlete I've seen thats not "rolled" after leaving highschool while they were dominant in highschool

I feel like his 44.29 in the 400 shouldn't even be listed as his "best" 400 time. Yes, I know it technically is, but he ran that in the beginning of the season while not even being in shape yet, and he also shut down at the end. Plus, he doesn't even train for it. If he would have run all the way through the finish line, he would have gone sub 44, which is INSANE for a 100m/200m runner in the beginning of the season. I honestly believe if he trained for the 400, was fully in shape, and ran all the way through the finish line, he would go sub 43 in the open. He already broke van Niekerk's 300m world record (again, in the beginning of the season while not yet being fully in shape), and he ran a 43.04 split even after running all the rounds of the 100m and 200m in the Olympics (and again, without training for a 400m). This kid's 400m potential is off the charts, and as an ex-400m runner, I'm desperately hoping he starts training for it so I can see a sub 43 second 400m and just sit back in awe.

I don't think 21 year olds get tired. If they do, it's for about 5 minutes. Plus, those Diamond league appearance fees for Olympic medalists are not to be skipped.

Nobody's talking about Ogando beating kenny and almost beating tebogo? He destroyed Fahnbulleh and King as well. + A national record

The only guy that I’d say was comparable to Tebogo at this age was Xavier *The X-Man* Carter who won the NCAA *100m & 400m dashes at age 20* in 2006. He ran 19.63 in 2006 at age 20 in a race where he beat Tyson Gay, Usain Bolt, Wallace Spearmon & LaShawn Merritt. *At the time, it was the 2nd fastest 200m in history.*

*X-Man was a high school All-American football player* and played for LSU.

I think X-Man was undefeated against Usain Bolt and the rumor back in the day that Bolt was intimidated by Carter. Before injuries and off the track issues, I used to think X could be in the Bo Jackson & Deion Sanders stratosphere as greatest all around athletes.

Looks like Tobogo is committing adultery... cuz he sure is making the moves on Noah Lyles' 'wife'!

Would love to see both him and Lyles in the 400m, two guys with insane top speed

We need to stop comparing people to Bolt. It's not fair. He was already the GOAT at 22 years of age. Nobody is beating that.

This is a season where it was disrupted by great personal grief as well... making it even more impressive as it must of been tough to properly dial in. He is such a relaxed smoothe sprinter, wonder what distance he makes his primary going forward.

Let's just see how he manages to maintain his dedication to his sport now fame and fortune have come his way. Always one of the biggest tests for anyone who performs at the top of their sport at a very young age. Not everyone passes it...
