•They are found in areas which receives more than 200 cm rainfall in their short dry season.
•Trees in these area reach upto 60 m high.
•All types of vegetation are found in these forest.
•There is no definite time for trees to shed their leaves in these forest.
•They are found in western ghats, tamil nadu, Andaman and nicobar, lakshwadeep, Assam.
Tress found in these area are ebony, cinchona, rubber

*Tropical* *Deciduous* *Forest* :
•These are most widespread forests in India.They are also called monsoon forests.
•They are found in areas which receives rainfall between 200 and 70 cm.
•Hardwood tress found in these area are sal, teak, neem.
